Hmm I was hoping this was MOBAFIRE support, as it is my password for this site I am having issues with. Unless of course Riot owns/operates this site and I am just a nub :P
EDIT: So I scrolled to the bottom of the home page and clicked the support link and it brought me right back to this forum. So my original question in the OP still stands. Help Please.

tbcshad, that is very strange. The password reset email is only sent when you type your email into the forgotten password form on the site. Also, it doesn't actually reset your password. It sends you a link that you can click to trigger a reset. So if you ignore them, it shouldn't cause a problem.
Possible reasons for this off the top of my head are... Someone knows your email address and is trolling you, you submitted the password reset form a number of times and the email system is still catching up, you have it bookmarked or in your history or something that is causing you to trigger additional emails to be sent, or if your password is actually being reset without you clicking the link in your email... Someone might have gained access to your email account. But I'm not sure why they would do this, makes no sense :P
Is your password actually being changed without you clicking the link? How many emails have you received, and are you still getting them? Is this actually preventing you from logging in on the site, or is it just a bother that you keep getting the emails? How many times did you manually submit the forgotten password form?

Hey Matt, thanks for the reply.
I counted a total of four emails sent to me with new passwords from the website. Each time I received one it was indeed a new password and I had to use that password to log into the website and then change it to a new one of my own. I am fairly sure that I only manually filled out the password reset form once, and only received the initial link to trigger the reset once.
While it is possible that someone hacked my email, I doubt that is the case as Mobafire was the only website I have had issues with. Still I will change my email password just in case. Maybe there was some sort of error where I ended up clicking the password reset link multiple times and the server was only catching up. As of the creation of this topic, I have not received any more password reset emails, so hopefully this was the case.
Thanks again for the help.

It shouldn't actually reset your password unless you clicked the link you got in your email. It is a two-step verification process. Trigger the process, get an email notifying you that it was triggered but not yet reset, click the link in that email and trigger the actual password to be reset and receive a second email.
I'll take a look and see if something may be wrong, although I haven't had anyone else report this happening. Let me know if it happens again!

You need to log in before commenting.
So a few days ago, my password was no longer working, so I used the reset password function to reset it. After receiving the email with the new password I immediately logged back in and changed my password back to the original password. Soon, only a few hours later I think, I received another automated email resetting my password. I have no idea why it was reset a second time. I definitely did not do it.
So I logged in with the new password, and changed my password again, this time to something completely different.
The next day I received another password reset email.
This has happened four or five times in a row now. I do not know how it is possible for my password to continually be reset without any action on my part. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
