you already have a meki pendant, I dont see why you also need two mana pots. You need something to help you sustain lane e.g. hp pots. I don't really see a point getting Q above level 1 early game as only damage increases and not the snare duration. The shield will provide you more benefit as you are able to shield your entire team for more damage.

As for items you get void staff a bit too early when you dont have any AP. AP early on is better than magic penetration as no one gets MR items that early.

I'm more than sure that if you do win with that build, it's either:

Your gameplay
or
Their gameplay

in whichever case I'm not up to start an arguement, I'm simply going to ignore this guide until you realise that you HAVE to put the changes you make in your build, or else you're just going to confuse people, which was what happened to me, after all, it's easy to skip a part or two of the text when it's ALL WHITE

Since I have my principles, I'm not downvoting your guide for personaly issues, but im not upvoting either.

1.You need clarity to stay in your lane early game, because if your playing her correctly, early game, you'll be harrassing the enemy a LOT (you will be mana HUNGRY), and you should have your first kill by level six if you're playing smart. You should just be destroying whoever is in your lane if you and your partner play smart. In mid, you can have 7/0/0 in under 15:00. Can't do that without the mana early game.
2.Most people say that Lux should be played with Clarity and Flash. Flash isn't used all that often though, an when it is, it's usually to escape an enemy. People will chase you. Using exhaust, your Q and your E will save you when you otherwise would've died. Try running from Twitch or Ashe with Lux without any help and no exhaust. It doesn't work.
3.Lux doesn't need any more CDR after masteries and Morello's tome, and the extra speed WILL get you kills because you'll be able to light bind a running enemy, instead of firing, missing, and wasting mana.
4.You don't sell the tear, you sell your shoes after getting Morello to make up for the CDR, and then use that to get Mobility. The item build I end up with most games is Tear, Mobility, Morello, Void Staff, Deathcap, and Lich Bane. When you get even more gold, then go double deathcap insteadof void staff, and then upgrade tear to archangel.

You sound like another Lux player who doesn't play smart and dies a lot more than she needs to. I always win Lux vs Lux. There must be something good about this build and the way I play her.

If you want to get boots of mobility, ok, but, why would a caster need it? you dont have to be careful about anything, you just lvl up to 6, and spam "IMMA FIRING MAH LAZORZ", so... I'd certainly keep ionian boots or sorceror's shoes.

Tear of goddess without going arhcangel's staff? o.o are you serious? well, in any case, just consider taking out mobility and you have free 1k mana + 3% AP based on your mana aka = overkill AP (in a good way).

What scars and flames said above...Your item choice is just weird and theres not big reason behind your selection

Clarity is the a horrible and probably the worst summoner spell.
Exhuast doesn't fit lux at all.

i can come up with other reasons of the guide being bad too, but i wont bother you with it

(just replace revive with the chosen thing name and size for.... size)

also you need to explain your choice of item as probably said by scars

1. clarity is wasted as runes, morellos and your tear can easily make it up
2. exhaust just doesnt feel right on her as lux already has tons of cc
3. why would you ever change cdr-boots for boots of mobility?
4. why would you build a tear, if you sell it later anyways?
