IMO people just shouldn't even have to say mia or ss. I think people should have general map awareness of what lanes are missing and should have wards around their own lane up. If you can't pay one yourself as top or mid laner, maybe the jungler could come in and ward a bit for you.
I disagreed, when I am in a hard lane, I need to fully concetrate on the lane. Yes Offcourse I check Mini-map now and then but not much (This could be me lack of skill, or just a humans limit). And when the other leaves their lane, how much afford would it take to say your lane is missing. Also asking a jungler or some1 else could take time (Depends on other players teamwork/skill) so that isn't really that reliable. Also what if the enemy player returns to base to get health back? You who is in the lane knows that he will return, but other players won't know and they already starting to be passive/defensive on their lanes (Yes offcourse that enemy can gank other lanes when he visit the towers, but that takes around 20 seconds to go on the desired spot to gank the lane (Some exceptions), but that is 20 seconds not farming/laning wasted).

This whole I don't like when people don't call MIA's for me is ********.
I have amazing map awareness but does that mean I want to have to know where every single person is on the map at all times and control my lane as well ? No.
Call the mia please.

If you call mia, it is too late.
If bot dies it is your fault.
If mid dies it is your fault.
If the jungler does not gank well it is his fault. But will be somehow your fault too.
In solo queue when people suck it is never ever their fault. It is always the fault of another noob champ.
Don't let them get to you- just use the ignore button. It is made because of these people.

Pushing lane to their tower 24/7. Dies few times, eventually loses lane. I only lost my lane because noob jungler never ganked.

I will say I always appreciate MIAs and pings, but if I get caught by someone from either the jungle or another lane, I'm not going to blame my teammates because that's my fault for not watching.
QFT. If you have real map awareness there should be little reason for MIAs. People should be constantly checking their mini map. MIAs are of course nice and forgive poor map awareness, but you can't teach someone not to get ganked. That, sadly, comes with game experience.
