If I may suggest, I think you should focus on lighting, blending and depth of a sig before you move on to other stuff.. Maybe a lil coloring to. I suggest you make a list of stuff you want to work on, and work on each.
Ex. This is what I had done when I first started.
Coloring-2 sigs a day
Blending-2 sigs a day
Text-1 sig a day.
etc..
