Decrepify, in fact, has the HIGHEST ap ratio and damage of any of Swain's abilities. It's 0.3 AP and the scaling damage PER SECOND. That means 0.9 AP and 255 at rank 5 for the full duration +20% from Torment actually making it Swain's most damaging ability.
Hmm, yeah you're right. That explains the 0.3 ratio then. It's still too unreliable of a damage ability to max first though, especially for the laning phase since it's so easily broken.

That being said I actually do like the guide. Solo top Swain is usually a pretty good option while leaving mid for the true AP carries.
I managed to read through few chapters, rest of it tommorow. I deffinitely like your formating! Formating in chapter with solo top enemies is great! It looks like it can even work too (never played with Swain). Thanks for uploading your guide, deffinitely worth it!
@Zell: I never really liked Chalice of Harmony, the 2 Doran's Rings basically cover any early game survivabilty and mana issues. If you need magic resistance early game you can always get it through runes or Mercury's Treads.
As for those matchups, I know they are very common but they both also fall under the 'straightforward' category and it's basically what I explain throughout the guide. (harass with E, land kills when low enough with W - E - Q - R - ignite, don't take free hits, etc)
The magic resistance part as stated previously is just an extra bonus but the main point of the item is the mana regeneration which covers mid-late as well unlike Dorian's Ring. You missed out the masteries part whenever on purpose or not. Also, I see you've now added Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration. :-/
