Its same with all auto attacks lol. If you manage to shoot at target and he lets say flashes after its already traveling it will still hit you.

Oh nice, I was more worried simply about the graphic. I just saw a Soraka (boomerang? banana) fly a mile down a lane after a flash + escape skill... I mean that ****er really travelled longer than I've seen any graphic in the game go! So just wondering if it'd actually travel, visibly, from top lane from bottom (if they tele'd from top to bottom)
It used to be possible to follow people with Lee Sin's Q. If you hit them before they teleported and then used the second part, you could fly all the way across the map and into the enemy fountain. It still seems to work with Jax.

Its just much more noticeable since Soraka's AAs have very slow travel speed.
