About one week ago I was playing a normal PVP match in Summoners Rift and I saw my first jungling Taric. He was awesome and he ended the match legendary with more than 15 kills. This made me start to wonder, are there any restrictions to which champions that can jungle ? I even saw a jungling Corki the other day and he got 12 kills and 1 death. Can you jungle with any champion or is your only limit your imagination ? It's been bugging me for some time and I was hoping for some people more experienced to give me some advice on the matter.
There's a somewhat pseudo limit to it, everyone can Jungle, some better and other champs badder. Some also have specific roles, a Lee Sin can gank a Lane thats not even that much pushed for example while Shyvana cant except if the Enemy is pretty stupid, Shyvana is more towards counterjungling then ganking, so the jungle isnt not about "jungler=your lane winer if something goes bad",
ok besides that, since you are new at this Forum, what is your summoner lvl/games played?
Because people tend to play different between lvl 1 and 30 and then at lvl 30 theres againa difference between how many games they alrdy played, also theres a hidden normal Elo.
To sum it up: There is no limitation in actual jungling, some Champs do better then others in the Jungle, but it also goes down to playerskill because of ganks n counterjunglin n stuff.
Hope that helped.
Hello there Francon2. My name is Phoenixblue and my main is Jungle

First I'm going to say that every hero can kill mobs in the jungle in the jungler role.
However you just have to think team synergy when you think jungler. A jungle
Taric can be a good choice if your team needs that type of thing. He has his pros and cons like all junglers. He's a beast at doing dragon's and barons.
At the moment the most picked junglers have high mobility and ganking options and tend to be tanky. There is a certain advantage about going business as usual when it comes to junglers because not a lot of people understand how to play with an unconventional jungler.
Fulfill a team role
Effect the map in a positive way for your team
Don't upset the hive mind
Those are pretty much the restrictions of a jungler

IMO, There's quite a few attributes a champion should have in order to be successful in the jungle. The main things I would say you need in a jungler are:
Jungling Speed - Champions with powerful AoE skills generally jungle faster than champions with single target abilities, for obvious reasons; Damaging all 4 Wraiths at the same time will allow you to clear them faster than targeting them one by one.
Sustain - Self explanatory. Need to have sustain in the jungle, for several reasons.
Ganking Potential - This, IMO, is an absolute must have for a jungler. Some sort of CC to pull off successful ganks. No CC = Good chance you're not going to do anything other than force the enemy champion to tower-hug for 15 seconds, or until you're gone.
Also, you need to consider how strong a certain champion is in lane. If a champion has a ridiculously good early game laning potential, why take that away, and throw them in the jungle where they cannot dominate a lane?
Hope that helped you some.
There might be more information I could give you, but I'm severely sleep deprived right now, and can't be bothered to look over my post :D

Those are a very good list of attributes you look for in a jungler I think. A good reference. The fact of the matter, though, I think, what separates a good jungler from a bad jungler is PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Moreso than any other role on the team, the jungler has the ability to pressure every lane and put pressure everywhere on the map. And the only way you do this is by knowing what to do when, and those are often choices you don't have to make in lane, where the goal is farm farm farm. Should you farm your camps, try a gank, counterjungle, blue pill, just help push a weak lane, when do you go for dragon, where should you place your wards?
I am a little biased cuz I think jungling really raised my knowledge and understanding of LoL to new levels, but really, I just think it is the most unique experience in the game. And so definitely at high ELO, some champs just outshine others in the jungle. At my low ELO, I really think I can outplay most junglers with just about anyone. For instance, just won a ranked game as jungle Xerath (dat stun from the bush ahah). So if you want to become a good jungler, it's all about really committing yourself to it.
