Good to see something different. Leona is pretty strong as a jungle from what I can tell was surprised that there aren't more guides because of her effectiveness.

To the person that was talking about the passive not being utilized, I find that junglers spend quite a lot of time in lanes doing things like ganking and team fights in those situation the passive is very nice to have. It would seem like your being a little short sighted on what a passive that was obviously designed to help in team situations is meant to accomplish.

Which guide would you use? The obvious choice for Leona is tank/support, this is more for fun while still being a CC king tanky dps. What would you do differently? I really dont understand why people downvote without trying it or making constructive criticism. I guess everyone is elitist; gotta love nerds on the interwebs.

I prefer support Leona. If I was to jungle her I wouldn't use this guide.

Well thats funny, because you can't actually see the ranked spread among characters your not friends with. Also you would have seen I was ranked last season if you really did see my profile on LoL.

Yep, they're equal to a tanky-dps at mid game. Late game you're pretty squishy, even by tanky-dps standards. Aside from that your damage is all built in AD and AS, pretty poor itemization for Leona, even if you do want to build her for damage.

I'll pass on duo-queue, I'd rather not waste my time and watch you embarrass yourself as you stumble upon real competition

funny i logged into LoL, went to profile, did a search on Mooninites, and found your info.

Now you say the armor and MR are equal to you average tanky dps. Sounds about right since this is a tanky dps build. Dont forget the steroid you get that adds 70 armor/MR which makes you more tanky than you average tanky dps. I tell you what, duo with me and then judge my play.

Black cleaver is not in this build. Good talk see you out there.

well actually I went bronze last season, so I was ranked, I'm currently bronze this season. I have over 915 wins and less than 800 losses. I currently play on a 5v5 ranked team called Stronk and we're competing in the alienware tournament. I'm curious as to where you looked me up

The runes and items are still wrong, your item explanations are pretty lack luster "warmogs will make you beefy" - no ****? End game you have 94 MR and 160 armor, which is about equal to your average tanky-dps, I don't see you actually surviving in competitive play

So i looked Mooninites up, he was unranked in season 1 and is 3 wins over .500 now but only on a 5v5 team that could be carrying him. Like I was saying, try the build and see if you like it. The runes and items are explained in the guide, I am not going to explain them further to a troll.

So again, you've jungled poorly with Leona using a completely different build so this one sucks? Its also pretty hard to "rush" an item that costs 1600 gold total as well as provides attack, sustain, and armor. I would comment on rushing boots but.... lol. Good luck to you with your myopic view of how to play.

I've actually jungled as leona, not with this particular build, but the fact still stands that Leona is awful in the jungle. It's not that I don't like the idea of it, which I don't, but the fact is, your build is awful, it's terribly inefficient and probably detrimental to the entire community to suggest playing Leona in the jungle. 21 points in the offensive tree? rushing wriggles and berserker greaves? Attack speed reds and armor pen reds?

Did you put any thought into this at all? It's not like it's a big secret that any chimp with a keyboard can jungle, you don't need to prove that Leona can jungle, but the fact that your guide is blatantly wrong and inefficient is enough for a downvote.

I'm going to downvote this, not because it can't be done, but on the basis that it's terrible. I've jungled leona and her potential is pretty much wasted, more so than other champs simply because she cannot proc her own passive. Aside from that she is extremely slow, and even building a wriggles won't make her that much faster
