I already have a build written, it's almost where I want it to be, but something's missing.

Building a Tank guide on here is tough, because people only look at the six items at the top of the page, when, as a tank, you HAVE to mix that stuff up to fit what you're tanking. I want to get rid of the Sunfire Cape in the 'Top Six' items, but can't find anything to replace it with that gives HP like I want. Sure, Frozen Mallet is great, but it doesn't give Armor, and I already have a slow from Randuins. Would two slows be too much? Is there such a thing. And even then, the -full- build is kind of expensive for Rammus to reliably get.

However.. the core build is 3/4 items. I rarely need more to do well. But I still need SOMETHING to stick up there in the boxes just in case, so long as it stays in the vein of the guide. Any ideas?

Runes concern me too. I'm not an expert, but I did my best to stick to the spirit of my guide. Any advice?

I'd also like an outside look on my syntax; is my guide okay to read? Spelling errors? Double punctuated anywhere?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read and reply. My guide is Rammus: The Tanking, Ganking Terror, if you need the name to evaluate it.

First of all they don't really get the whole not jungling concept since he has actually one of the few junglers who aren't that pull reliant such as Gangplank (starting Vampiric Specter and I do fairly okay without a pull or damage assistance on wolves but do try to remind my team-mates for them. He also thrives on people being unaware of his strong early ganks as it can lead to easy kills when people aren't playing cautious. That aside back on-topic.

I wouldn't really bother with Ghost as you already have Powerball better to give your team some utility be it with Exhaust or whatever. A suitable item replacement would probably be Shurelya's Battlesong seeing as it gives a valueable speed boost for not only yourself but the whole nearby team. Tank wise gives health and the necessary mana regeneration to farm, harass or what not in lane. You could get Aegis of the Legion if your team is fairly tanky and you tell your support in ahead of time although they do stack together twice though. Pretty tired at the moment so keeping it short and that's all I have to say at this present time.

Thanks a lot! I was iffy on Ghost, and I have recently taken to running Exhaust myself. Shurelya's is a great item, and thinks for reminding me of it. I usually take Aegis early if the team really needs it. Thanks again.

One option is to list the bare minimum three items in your build, and make them items you should get every single game no matter what you build them into, like Boots of Speed and a Giant's Belt. To compensate, make a whole section about what items are great on Rammus and in what situations, to give people the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.
