Well... have been playing lol for about a month now, and I have gotten decent at laning, but there is still one thing I don't understand how to do- and that is jungling. Recently, I bought Shaco because he looked like a fun champion, and I found out from guides that he was a jungler. I got into a match, and I attempted jungling, failing miserably. After that, I had to lane to catch up to everybody in levels. The next game I played, I managed to kill both buffs, but then just sat there confused on what I should do. I went to kill wolves, and scince I was already low on health, I died. Anyone have any tips on a jungling rout or something like that? Thanks.

I'm not sure how Shaco's recent changed effected his jungle. It used to be that you would start by skilling into Jack In The Box and placing a few down where either buff spawns, so that you can kill it quickly and with almost no damage. Often, you'd skill Deceive and gank immediately after this, when the lanes are all still level 1.

If you're having trouble learning how to jungle, I'd suggest starting with one that's really easy. I found Warwick and Nunu & Willump to be useful for learning the ropes. Both walk around the jungle with really high HP all the time, and Warwick in particular can stay in the jungle pretty much forever without any items. He's also still able to jungle with pretty much any rune and mastery setup, making him very forgiving for beginners. Nunu's late game is a bit easier, though, so it's your choice.

Lots of people have found this guide helpful: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/jungling-101-what-you-need-to-know-77704

Shaco is actually one of the harder junglers. He's good because of his intense early ganking skills, but if you don't get successful ganks he's not very useful. He's also hard to be useful with lategame since he's so squishy and melee, I would suggest trying some other junglers first that are easier to learn. Udyr, Rammus, and Amumu were some of my first junglers and I found them easy to pick up / fun to play.
Thanks to Minho for my sig!

Rammus is a super easy jungle and really fun to play imo as long as you don't play him over and over again for reallllly long periods of time.

And keep in mind, you are not level 30 (or at least your bio says not anyway). One things that you really almost NEED to jungle is the runes for it. Those are what help you survive long enough to go through the jungle without dying. If there were any piece of this game where runes made the larges impact, it would be with junglers.
Thanks goes to JEFFY40HANDS for a gorgeous Karma sig
