Well, I can't see how you can argue this point so strongly. Ezreal is not, by nature, a ridiciolously strong late-game champion-- you could claim Tristana or Sivir have no use for Trinity Force because they are late-game champions and not ability-orientated damage-dealers.
However, take mid-game Ezreal or Corki (around the time by which you should have that Trinity Force) - they excel here, tremendously out-damaging both Tristana or Sivir--champions that tend to buy Infinity Edge over Trinity Force-and therefore should make use of and utilize that advantage. I see an Ezreal buying Infinity Edge fighting a Sivir buying an Infinity Edge and I see Sivir beating on Ezreal while sippin' on coffee. However, buying Trinity Force on Ezreal gives him:

• Survivability (if only meagre, Phage)
• Insane ability burst mid-game ( Sheen)
• AS that synergizes perfectly with his passive ( Zeal)

Which does, in-turn, provide enough damage to beat that Sivir in straight-up combat, aswell as being hell more useful in teamfights--ability power scales on AoE like Ezreal's ult and Essence Flux.

I'm still not wholly overcome by the idea of having Ezreal solo top. However, since you did take the time to neaten up the guide with pretty pictures and (to be honest, Ezreal solo top is a perfect fit in the old meta), although today's meta; featuring primarily tanky DPS (eg. Udyr) or offtanks (eg. Irelia) does triumph over this glass-cannon Ezreal build --it can (not to say always does) work. Therefore, I see no harm in +1 upvoting your accomplished guide to Ezreal.

I do know what I'm talking about. But more people believe firmly that Trinity Force is a waste of space and gold on Ezreal because it doesn't really benefit him THAT MUCH, and makes his autoattacks significantly weaker late game as compared to spending 200 less on an Infinity Edge. Infact, it's already been proven that Infinity Edge is a much better item to get for Late-Game Ezreal than Trinity Force

So stop bm'ing people - and do your homework.

Hi there and thank you for posting a comment on my guide. Yes I agree with you, there is much room for improvement and I have already improved my guide with fixed lists etc. The reason I play ezreal solo lane is simply because he is a fun champion to play. I am well aware there are many other champions who do much better than ezreal solo top, however, I feel ezreals range and damage make up for this. If you keep practicing ezreal like I did solo top should not be a problem (This i have learnt from past experience as I continually dominate solo top ad mid lanes throughout my ezreal gameplay). I am well aware that ezreal has no defensive items as I believe he should be played full glass cannon in order to carry the team. (This is solely due to the fact that if I buy defensive items my AD will decrease and I will not be match enough for other AD carries). Anyway, thank you for posting a comment on my guide and I really hope you upvote this now that I have fixed my guides presentation and re clarified your queries. Thank you very much,

Sometimes I question how well people who seem to know what they're talking know about the game.

Ezreal is viable late game. You're clearly relying on his Mystic Shot to do damage late game, which is obviously going to make you fall off late game.

You should learn to use his autoattack to your advantage, and get rid of that pathetic Trinity Force, honestly it's a stupid item for Ezreal, it's not meant for him - it's meant for Tanky-Bruiser/Initiators like Irelia and Nidalee.

I think that Ezreal can't do a solo lane in Ranked games.
He's better in bot with a Support.

Also you have to improve your guide. I will be happy if you modify and put colors and images in this guide :D

Well, I'd like to suggest some improvements and ask some questions; you have errors here and there is a lot of room for improvement:

• Your presentation is right off; ^Above should help you a lot.
• I need some reasoning for taking Ezreal top as opposed to, for example, Renekton who is--very much- arguably stronger.
• You have no defensive items there. What's to stop Akali or Talon from 2-sec bursting you?
• Isn't Ezreal stronger as a bot lane carry? By putting him top you're going to have to result to putting a tank bot lane (less effective) or having duo carries.
