-i play on NA servers
-timezone: eastern right now is 9:30 am
-lv 12

Can someone plz help me become a better player. I'm a low level but I think I understand the basics. But I still get owned in PvP, like I have no chance. Even when I'm playing Ai I get negatives and sometimes one or two kills. I usually feed by accident, and I don't want to keep pulling others down. Some in game advice, tips, and general help will be great. I'm always free so I can go on whenever.

I'm not that great of a player myself but I learned from very good people. First advice, and this is the first one I give people when they ask me about being good in Deathmatch at counter strike and it applies to LoL as well : Before you learn how to kill, learn how not to die. When in lane, focus on 1) not dying 2) get creeps. LoL is a farming game, you want money to build. Also, everytime you die, you lose exp and fall behind. So, for as long as you can, and you can practice with the bots, focus on last hit with the creeps and survivability.
Don't dive the turret, a lot of players will try to lure you into doing it.
Know your enemy. Try as many champs, when they're free, just to know how they work (Co-op/beginner). It's easier to face a champ you know than one that will surprise you.
Don't chase, especially if you are by yourself. Most chased champ will lead you to one or more partners.
Don't be afraid to ward the bushes. Especially if you feed early, their partners will try to come and get a piece of you.
Don't be afraid to hug the turret, it can be an ally of choice.
Don't give up and ask for advice from your allies. Don't be afraid to ping and ask for assistance.

That's all I can think of. I'm sure there are more potent players with better advice than mine, but that should get you started.

Well at lvl 12 you havent seen alot of the champs yet, and dont know what each is capable of. Alot of the big decisions, like when to chase, when to turret dive, and such, is really formed out of experience and map awareness. Psychofrench gave good advice when he suggested u learn how to get CS (creep score) and not die first. 15 creep kills = (roughly) 1 decent champ kill (decent as in the champ has a few kills himself and isnt the support who is sitting around not killing anything, those dont give u as much gold). You need to be aware of the danger zones of your enemy players, what the range on their abilities are, which champs have hard CC (Crowd Control such as stuns, snares, suppressions, silences, bounces) that can stop you in your tracks and make you easy prey for other champs to kill you. Really becoming a better player is all about getting out there and actually PLAYING, learning the basics of all the champs and getting to know about a dozen or so REALLY well so you can play them to their fullest potential. That is what makes this game so great, it is impossible for bad players to buy their way into greatness, there arent any hax to make u stronger, tougher, faster, its just a very well balanced game. here is a link on Zone Control that i think would really help you out.

Excuse the voice, its kinda graiting but what she is saying is EXTREMELY helpful, especially to new players. Understanding enemy player range, and your own, is one of the key elements in not dying. At your level you wont have to worry about ganks too much, that will come with time.

Overall i would say that the biggest answer to your problems is to get more experience and more practice. Don't get discouraged, we were all scrubs once, you grow out of it ;)

Hope this helps!

Yeah, this is the Mumble information for our in-house games afterwards. At 2PM Eastern we are running the WOrkshops, and around 7PM we are going to start playing in-house games.

And I moved some info to my signature, so I hope I don't look too spammy.
