Doing good with it once doesn't make it good. Whenever I use these builds, and I mean WHENEVER, I always do good. If you're afraid to try out different builds, then don't come on MOBA.
Oh god. I'm not even going to talk anymore, some people just don't learn rofl.
No vote for me, just really wanna downvote but i will spare you.
The key to both of these champions is cooldown reduction.
With Ren, you have an early game harasser that has NO COST to any of his skills. His mobility, his sustaining power, his CC, and his damage are all based on his free skills.
Not getting a single % CDR means a very ineffective Ren.
Secondly, Ren needs armor penetration. All three of Ren's non ult skills deal physical damage and have AD ratios. Not building a single armor penetration also means an ineffective Ren.
Now moving on to Nasus. It is a fact that rushing
Nasus gets countered by all the AP top laners and just shouldn't be played up there unless against an AD based top...thus Nasus should be building merc treds and glacial shroud every game.
You early build a Frozen Mallet on both these champs. It isn't a good idea to build this item unless you are far ahead on gold. The patter for this item costs 800g and only gives 2AD and 45hp. Those are tiny stats. If the enemy is just going to turn around and roflstomp you toe to toe because he has better stats, the slow does you no good.
Finally, not running an escape on a top laner is a terrible idea. Nasus with ghost is fine. But teleport ignite on ren probably isn't going to work for you.
You might as well hold up a neon sign that says, "GANK ME LEVEL 1 PLEASE. FREE KILL!"
A good jungler is going to jump on you early and you'll get rocked because of it.
erm, first where is your brutalizer and your ionian boots for renekton?? playing renekton without theses is like you're going to work without clothes and second, its not because you did good with this build that other people will do good with this build. you need to not only accept this criticism but ask why he said that and how it could help to optimize your guide.
i hope you will understand that and make a better guide from it

Try out different types of builds. Don't be afraid. I've already gone 23/5 with this Renekton build. Kthx.
/facepalm
So if I build Tank Evelynn and I do well with it, it is a good build. Sigh, I can't believe how immature some people are.

I never said I refused to accept his criticism. I'm saying what he states is false. If I do good with this build, its obviously a good build.
