Views: 1931 AP Evelynn in the jungle

This time I'm gonna write the article first in English and maybe translate it later into German, if you wish.

This article is about the improvement of my current Evelynn guide. Many users have commented and wished a jungling section, some even recommended me to jungle with AP Evelynn.
It should be clear that the jungle build must be completely different from the standard AP build and here comes the problem. How to keep it AP without going to much onto hybrid?

Wit's End and
Malady to me for that reason and I am convinced they might be the right choice for the jungle, as they offer a big boost on attack speed and give us additional magic damage with every normal hit. Certainly we have to pass about 140 AP, so our
Lich Bane is loosing some value but it's still useful, as we will have over 300 AP in late game.
Here I want to show you, how the standard build looks and what I think how the jungle build possily could look like.

Malady might fit in an optional standard build but therefore I am still compairing the benefits of Attack Speed + Bonus Magical Damage vs High Ability Power.

Runes were:
Spell pen Marks
Armor Seals
Ap pr. lvl Glyphs
Flat AP quints
Summoners were smite and exhaust.
Cloth armor + 5 pots, start at blue, wolfs, wraiths, golems, red.
Buy boots, +5 pots and go gank, remember to get a ward at enemy blue within 6.30 :)
Still certain spell vamp quints would make it a lot safer to jungle :)
Just did some testing of the madredz build in a real game.. It was against noobs though but my jungle sustatin was incredible. Was going with a 1-14-15 build for the g pr. 10 and the spell vamp, aswell as every creep damege reduction in defense while having improved exhaust.
Worked wonders with a 10-3-9 score :)
Although I did lack the AP untill late game, which wasn't really my goal
could you maybe post the item build, runes and masteries you used, using the item, runes, mastery builder from mobafire like I did in first post?? Thanks :)

As I said i tried the original AP build with a rush of madreds first and this worked pretty good aswell. But maybe it's strategic a nice idea to wait for the AP gear til late game. People see you're building an Attack Speed build and might prepare themselves for an AP build and will be surprised to face a strong AP Evelynn in late game. maybe... ^^ Unfortunatly I did not have time to do further tries yesterday. I wish I had enough EP to buy spell vamp quints to check out your suggestion ^^ it sounds really interesting.

- but i could see the madrez to blood razer instead of wriggles, didn't think of that at all, that would open up posibilities if you rush that along with sheen, because it will boost autoattacks by quite a bit, making the ultimate worth using for other than escaping or chasing. It adds some armor for a more safe jungle and i think you would end up with a decent clear time aswell as some powerful ganks before AP Stacking.. I gotta test this when I have the time :)
But let's clear some things up for runes, i still think spell vamp could have a very effective effect on eve, giving her some sustain when her burst isnt enough to tale someone down aswell as some sustain in jungle, was thinking about a 0-19-11 build, with spell vamp quints for a total of 9% flat spell vamp at level one and every minion damege reduction mastery in the defense tree, this would be at the cost of early game damege, but would make up for it by relying less on going back to base. When i get money imma buy some RP and get an IP-boost, the. Ill grav every possible rune, so we can work out the perfect combination :)
Maybe the +20 ap book along with pots and armor quints could work if hou build it into a hextech revolver and later into a book of the ancients :)
