It is not a lucky guess at all, it's experience and knowledge of the game that made me formulate that assumption.

Cause the point is he said similar thing later on and whole his rant was rather about the process of learning and you still don't care. What's the reason of talking when you focus only on proving your point based on partial knowledge of the idea?

Besides I can't really get why it was so complicated for you. You have to fill in 30 circles with whatever drawings in 60 seconds; you don't cause you're too focused on what you're drawing instead of how fast you fill in therefore you lose the first time. If you just did it the fastest way the first time you would have next time to work on quality of the pictures. Example of losing focus of the core task, nothing really much else, cool introduction for the rest of the rant.

Yes, later on he said something different, but what he said in the beginning was still wrong.

So let's apply the 30 circle thinking to lol. The objective for an AD carry to get kills and win the game, but since you're being so greedy you end up dying and losing. How did going straight for the objective help you? It did not, it cost you the victory.

It's not losing focus of the core task, it's doing the core task correctly.

It's harder cause it's much more complicated.

You'd have to go:
1.destroy nexus
2.destroy towers
2.get more gold and xp than enemy team
3.win teamfights / splitpush... and so on.

Within 3 and 4 you get depth in how you build champions, comp and tactics. It's still about the process of learning and asking the right questions. It doesn't mean eliminating all assumtions, it's just a warning that external sources are more likely to disort your view about the system if you don't build your experience around your own feeling while having a clear goal. That's why sometimes pro builds can't seem to work in lower level play where all you do is try to carry the game (even if that means fighting over cs).
Your example (mine was exagerrated earlier because of quality objection) is from an advanced player perspective (mind Newbie Tuesday title of the video) so that's why it can't really apply but still let's try.

We need to remember it's a team game, if the player you mentioned want to improve he will have to remember next time not to go all out and ask his team members to initiate or cc break. Killing other players is just a semi-objective (you could theoretically finish game with 0/0/0 just because your team got more farm) , it won't win you the game if you die a lot, as he managed to experience btw (see, he had wrong assumption and he wasn't focused on the right objective :P). The thing is he needs to stay true to it and draw his own conclusions.

JMastiff, I assure you anything you say will just completely go over Canoas' head. He generally doesn't like to listen to other opinions, and then work those into the debate, he just enjoys to argue/troll. Jusaiyan.
