You build full AP and if you get stunned you are screwed
What are you basing this assumption off? I do build full AP yes, but i have a very steady 129 armour and 109 Mres, not to mention 2.3k hp.
Do you go to AD carry builds and downvote for building too much AD and that they'll die if they get stunned >_>?
Im tanky enough through what i have to not melt inside a single stun. Then Zhonyas >_>
No offense to you of course but I'll downvote this for several reasons:
- Basically you go way too aggressive. Your runes are quite aggressive as well as your masteries. I guess that's just a preference of yours and that's fine. Rumble can be somewhat more aggressive sometimes but that doesn't mean he should be 100% aggressive. He's a great solo laner but not when built as a glass cannon. He needs some forms of defenses.
- Your summoner spells are too aggressive as well. Rumble does have a shield that gives him some move speed and he can escape with that but if you've overextended too much the shield just doesn't give enough movement speed so you probably won't be able to escape. That's why you need either Flash or Ghost (especially for a solo lane)
- Your build has no sustain. Rumble needs the sustain to stay in lane since he's going for a solo lane. The early Doran's Shield you get is only useful for your early levels.
- By going for a Doran's Shield start and picking aggressive runes, masteries and summoner spells you are a very easy target for ganking. And since you don't run Flash and you don't get your W before lvl 3 you will be a very easy target for the enemy jungler.
Hope I helped you out by giving you some feedback and telling you why I downvoted. If you fix some of the issues I've pointed out I might change my vote but we'll see. Once again no offense to you. I'm just giving out my opinion on the guide.
Well yes, you were right to assume this was a personal preference. This however IS just a base guideline for the build, naturally i buy to counter-pick if things arnt going my way. Alot of the time my glasscannon/aggressive behaviour lands me a first blood and significant lead in levels and farm, but thats just my style. I will give a more neutral defensive build a try and add it if i feel it works well.
To each their own i suppose. I love my Rumble aggressive and play well at it, some others might prefer the defensive role.
And about the ganking thing; Seeing as i poke, ALOT , in lane, if the enemy in my lane does decide to commit so an oncoming gank, he's usually melted within 2 seconds of the jungler appearing. I know im sounding up myself but alot of the times a gank is attempted on me in a solo lane, i land doubles.
But i will defenitely take your comment into consideration, and come up with a more tanky/sustain alternative to my Rumble, if it works well for me i'll defenitely add it in and give you a shout out for the assistance.

Very nice build. Close to what I run, although I switch out Abysal for Hextech Gunblade. WIth the amount of ap you're pushing, you'll never die. lol
I'm actually going to try that tonight, sounds like a good idea. I havn't really been around to update this guide, if it goes well ill recommend hextech in the build. I just need to look into patch notes and update this a little sometime soon.
