i would take flat mr glyphs since they are the best choice for mid aswell
on botlane as ad you need more mr than you would think (corki taric sona leona tristana missfortune...)
for ad ad reds are the best choice by far (xept maybe on kogmaw if you want to use as)
if you want quints u can use on any1 use ms quints (movespeed best stat in the game)
for ad i use lifesteal or ad most of the time

Yes, but why not just go ability power per level instead of flat ability power? And why grab health, I mean I won´t live all that long if I get caught out of position anyway. And the magic pen runes only give me 8,55 in pen. And that is not all that much, the ability power per level quintessence out-damage the flat one at level 7-8.
Ability power per level quints don't outscale flat until level 13, and AP reds and yellows suck. You get 9 AP from AP/lvl reds and yellows at level 18 and one point of Mpen does a lot more than one point of AP.
I'll take my 8.55 Mpen all game and 175 health at level 18 over 18 AP at level 18 any day.
It's the same reason you don't just take AD/ArP/AS in every rune when you play an AD carry.

Scaling MR glyphs are usually the standard.
They go above flat at about level 6 which is when most AP mids start to roam.
