Yeah, but Maokai was used to win IPL4, because everyone was like "WTF MAOKAI LOLZ THIS IS CAKE" and then he gave them a big tree hug and kinda stomped all over them. Pretty much what they said, Soraka, Taric, Alistar, LOTS of Janna, but i hate going with the flow, i like the weird ones. I like running characters the way they WERE NOT supposed to be played, like Magewick. WW with sorc. shoes, Will of the Ancients, Abyssal Mask... just trololol all over everyone and watch your Hungering Strike take half their life and replenish yours almost all the way back up. Off topic, but i thought i might share this fun trolling opportunity with everyone XD
My point is, along side of the "traditional" supports, grab some of the unconventional ones too. Throw something weird at the opponents, and watch them freak out as they try to figure what to do.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. She has always had some of the greatest harass and farm in the game. Possibly one of the best supports at zoning AND sustain. She also has something in common with Kassadin, that MR passive AND silence, which makes them two of the greatest mid counter-picks.
