Youtube Channel Design

We've made an outcast or 'prototype' if you will now, and I'd like to hear anything from you that might help enhance the background, be it small details that should be changed, because it looks bad, or effects that can make it stand out even more :) Please also note that the reason that the quality isn't top-notch is because there is a cap of 1 MB background image size, until you become partner with YouTube. There's no renders, the colors are easy on the eyes, some gradient on the edges to smoothen it out and twitter, etc on the left and name on the right (currently my gaming clan).
