yeah, they should have an offline mode, hell i wouldn't care if offline characters couldnt be played online. but its all already been said before and you all know it anyway. this also takes away the ability to mod the game, but from what i've seen of d2 mods good riddance.
and until people host their own servers like wow, then d3 will remain unpirateable. whoopty ****ing doo, you succeeded in making your game practically unpiratable.
and no, i wouldnt make a thread just because ea made a game online only, it would have to have a lot more than just that, since i've once again, already stressed that is bad.

practically unpiratable? In less than a month we'll be seeing pirate servers of diablo 3 for sure. The bigger the game the more people will attempt to crack it, the only thing they did is prevent the loyal users from playing it offline in order to sqeeze more money out of them.

a topic about what? that im smart enough to wait it out until **** gets fixed before buying d3? i was gonna wait to get d3 for 2 months or so anyway, when the server pop started to go down a bit.

Maybe about the fact that they're forcing D3 to be played online? No single player mode and no LAN mode just so the hackers will have more trouble cracking the game, which in turn is punishing the loyal players for no reason at all. If this happened with any Co-op game from EA there would be a topic about it for sure.. Single Player/Co-op games should not require an internet connection. It's complete BS, surely as bad, if not worse, as what EA did with ME.
