I have been using a more popular guide on volibear which had really good explanations, but the build was a bit off. I started uusing this build today and modified it with atma's impaler and ididnt lose a single game today :D.

You can always just copy my guide and put it up when you add Ionic Spark and Madred's Bloodrazor ;) since I'm assuming it will look similiar...



Why would us knowing your last game with Voli you went 1-4-1 and lost, make you feel "disconcerted"? (once again a freaking amazing word...) I would like to compliment you on your grammar, I find it rather refreshing! Just dont go all egomaniacal on me!

First off, I don't adhere strictly to even my own build order listed in this Moba Fire. I tend to build towards what I need and I have yet to add Ionic Spark and Madredz in the discussion page of this guide. If you must know, I followed my build fairly closely in regards to the core items. I built Boots, Wriggles, HoG, and Warmogs. We had invaded level 1 where I found myself with 2 kills and 3 assists early on.

From there I snowballed fairly hard and in order to keep my lead through mid and late game I decided to build Wits and Ionic Spark to dish out the DPS. I did this only because we also had an Alistar and Irelia on my team as well -- Negating the fact that I needed to maintain a strictly tank build. Unfortunately due to some trolly team members and ragers who refused to work with the team we lost our window of opportunity to secure victory, however due to the length of the game how much gold I was accumulating I actually sold my Wriggles outright and bought a Madredz. I only recommend this as a last item swap when you have 3k+ gold, Oracles, all 3 potions, and the game is still very much going on.

On a side note. Please stop stalking my stats, I find it rather disconcerting.

I took it down because my math was wrong, not because I was racist. You want i can put it back up? And no i wouldn't have gotten banned based soley off of a single comment you took to be "atrocious",- good word btw! And the numbers were fact not trying to "besmirch" anything (ANOTHER GOOD WORD!), and anyone can read them, haha...62-37 is what you have currently gone with Voli over your last 7 (which i might add is much better!) losing 4 of your last 7 with him! It is funny though that your best game (18-5-20) you dont use your build at all, using Ionic Spark and Wit's End and Madred's Bloodrazor... odd? Since those items are in my build, but i don't see Ionic Spark anywhere in your guide nor do i see Madred's Bloodrazor... Oh well i guess eh?

One of the good few that actually main Malmortius, which is IMO a lot better than Wits (if you look at tankiness). The way you can settle some criticism is probably to make 1-3 chapters about which build works for X type volibear. This build seems more oriented towards tankiness and slowing for your carry, but others may want to go 100% tank or 50:50 AS / tank. You should probably also take away wriggles after you've maxed your build, just to increase the damage / tankiness you have.

I just gotta say, great guide! I just recently bought Volibear, and your guide pretty much gave me all the info I was looking for and also some great ideas and tips. +1 Great job!

I must suggest that u give movespeed quints a try, because imo they are the best quints for any jungler, and also try Wit's End(tanky build) - Ionic Spark(fed build) instead of Maw of Malmortius, because it doesn't benefit Volibear as much as attack speed does.

+1, your build seemed mostly solid and your guide was detailed and informative. I am unsure of why you are getting frozen mallet and warmogs early though, having too much health and not enough resistances lowers your tanking effectiveness. If you want more health, I suggest at least having one of the items as a last item.

Your guide doesn't flow very logically either, you go from pros/cons directly to jungling, then to items, then finally you explain your masteries/skills/summoners. I suggest giving the explanations first before going into detailed stuff about jungling. You also forgot to explain your runes.

i prefer playing him as cdr tank/support, because that way i don't need as much feeding, but your way works too, IF you get the kills to support it :)

45-38 playing voli jungle last 7 games losing 4. I will not vote on yours either friend.
