The cheapest really good gaming mouse would probably be the Logitech G400.
Price is not important when I choose mice, but I went with the G400 anyway because all other mice I tried were worse for me.
The G400 is overall a really solid choice if you use palm grip (google "mouse grips" if you need more info) like most people.

I use a G400 too, it's cheap as well as being pretty damn good. Plus it has cool side buttons so I can show off. Can't complain.
I use the razer imperator. I love it. It's from their ergonomic line of mice It feels great, works great, and like most of their mice it looks great.

I'd go with xai. The xai has a small problem though, you can only put macros on the side buttons, you can't put shift or control which is useful sometimes. Maybe it has been fixed though.
EDIT: found a program that allows me to bind actual keys to the side buttons, so it's not an issue any more.
