Keep in mind in talking about the pvp.net client UI as well here, not gust the in game client

Like:
  • It is a very efficient, easy to use system all the space is used intelligently and it looks very clean.
  • It doesn't require any weird menu tutorials on how to find things like your summoner profile.
Hate:

  • How hard swapping item slots is now that the in game ui has been down scaled. The lack of details in the pvp.net client and the in game ui (more on this later).
  • The fact that things like changing the recommended items, and replays (not spectating, replays) STILL require 3-rd party software.
Want:

  • More info on the champs on the pvp.net client, not having to go to a wiki to find AP ratios, base stats, ect. would be splendid when I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a champ.
  • When I scroll over a buff, I'd like a small tool-tip timer telling me how much longer my blue, or an enemies baron is going to last, I hate estimating off those little timers.
  • A way to preview what a skin looks like in-game before buying would be splendid (pbe does not count).
  • Ability to change rec. items

Also, don't get me wrong; Riot is doing a good job, just wondering what everybody else thinks.

You should be able to estimate timers, usually within 10-15 seconds (usually the time it takes for an enemy to pop up if you have no vision on baron/buffs). I like not being able to see buff times because it's what part of what separates pro players from regular players.

Most of the rest of what you said, I agree with.

Also, want easier customization of the UI (the WoW-esque one that got some attention lately is one I like a lot, but the lack of some features still keeps me - unhappily - with the default UI). I'm a UI mod junkie, and I like modding it.
