She's pretty good, especially if you play poke comp.
The only time I felt Nidalee AP mid could be half-decent was because they had a shyvanna jungler who gave her an early blue. She had the heal. As for the rest, she could dream of hitting me with her spear all day long.
I find her god aweful. Of course the godlike tier pros may rape me with her but, then again, I'm pretty sure they could do better with pretty much any other ap mid.
She doesn't even synergize with gankers in terms of utility contributions unless they are AS dependant (her heal). Her best chance is hitting with the spear, or going Nyan Cat past level 6
Please note that I am totally open to the possibility that I never faced a decent mid nida. But, until proven otherwise, I'll keep thinking she is a god-aweful carry, specially for lategame where you can either land them spears or you have to tank as cougar for damage.
