The Double Warmogs is mad unless you have massive amounts of Armor and MR.
And you do NOT have them.
125 Armor... Well.. Any non-carry has this without problems.
The 178 MR are better.. But not as good as to get double Warmogs, wich has nothing else then health according to the "mid" amount of armor.
I did much better with Sunfire Cape for the half amount of health but with additional Armor and the burning extra. And all that for a lower price.
Also a Randuins, Frozen Heart or even a Guardian Angel would fit better.
In the masteries there are a lot of wasted points. Why do you get "Siege Commander" if you can lower your cooldowns with "Enlightment"? I don't understand.
Also you do NOT get any CdR from your Items and Mastery. According to this you are completely useless in teamfights after 1 Bite and 1, maybe 2 Majestic Roar, except for auto attacks.
Kind of idiotic.
Much health, mid defenses, no team support. And want to be a tank.
"Great" job, voted down for this issues.
PS: Do NOT downgrade other guides to push up yours. This will end in much more Downgrades to your own.

First issue with this post, Heal is not a useless spell. Many supports have dropped Clairvoyence completely just for Heal. While Volibear may not be a support, heal is still quite a potent spell.
Secondly, Boots do seem a bit late, but in coordination with Summoner Spell: Heal, Volibear's Passive, and his E slow, Ganking Volibear may seem tougher than you may think, even without boots.
Thirdly, Frenzy does seem like a bad choice. That is, if your jungle is planning to level one gank. In this case Rolling Thunder would be the obvious choice. Realistically though, Volibear's E is the safest and will help prevent Volibear from getting killed at level one. What the OP suggesting in this build however, is that assuming top is not going to be ganked at level one, Frenzy gives the best lane presence out of Volibears abilities, and will prevent any melee top champion from getting too near Volibear within the first couple levels where Volibear is the weakest.
Edit: You got boots at the sametime as the OP in your build dood.
