The items are centered around gaining cdr cost effectively at the start of the game.
The build does a very good job of that.
Also, I play him as an assassin. So I build him very offensively to start with and then evolve towards a bruiser by mid-late game.
Starting him off FM isn't suggested for three reasons. First, this will make your clear times suffer due to lack of clearing power. Second, you ganks won't be very potent because until FM is completed you are relying on RNG for that strategy to really work and your damage is pretty weak. and Third, that is a really expensive item that doesn't have a lot of stats. The patter costs a considerable amount and only give a minimal mount of hp and 2 ad. That early in the game that will put you behind on stats.
But Dr. Mundo, and Shyvanna are counter junglers, not ganking junglers. Even Noct isn't a ganking jungler. He has decent ganks, but his strength is in counter jungling and counter ganking, not ganking pre-6.
Maxing E is vastly superior in any ganking situation.
You are really really underestimating the power of a reliable, ranged immobilization that is visually easy to identify.
And yes 100% more damage out of teammates is not atypical. Consider how much damage skill shots deal compared to targeted abilities. Very commonly a skill shot will deal 30-50% more damage than a targeted nuke of similar mechanics. Considering a mage's spell combo hitting that skill shot often will result in double the damage they would normally deal. Now garauntee that it hits every time by immobilizing them...100% more damage...it's not a herp a derp stat I pull out from no where.
When it comes to our ELOs, I am a 1600 ELO player. I have 2/3 1600 ELO teams... My solo que is the only rating not over 1600 currently and that is mainly due to not playing solo que and having it decay. If you'd like to check it's top rating it was also over 1600 (took a long break for ME3 and D3 and it decayed) and I'll easily get it back over 1600 in one night if I find the time. I jumped it back up 60 points the last time I played.
You on the other hand, just got out of your placement matches which can greatly exaggerate a players real ELO, get 50 ranked games played and we'll see what your real ELO is...
I don't want my guide discussion filled up with a competatot trying to argue with me. It's kind of a downer for the reader. I'd appreciate if you had further comments that you'd use the messaging system.
You accuse me of "clumping all junglers together" while the point was actually opposite. You said by yourself couple of times, that jungler
Btw you're quite selective when it comes to defend your argument, why would you skip the best, Nocturne when you list jungler assassin? He's acknowledged as one of the best junger in the game, it's nothing unusual to see him in tournaments. And he falls much closer to Rengar kit than, lets say Alistar does.
Clear time, it's not a race. As i said it's a benchmark, providing good insight on how well jungler deal with lack of champion kills(no matter how you play, sometimes you will fail). You tend to exaggerate every small difference. Maxing E isn't "vastly superior" its situationaly better, in every game you will find yourself in a spot where you regret not having those 20% more burst, or additional % on your slow, however difference isn't that noticeable over course of a game. Also previously you said clearing neutral camps is important and maxing bola won't affect your speed, now you say it's insignificant, not very consistent if you ask me.
@Slows, as a jungler you depend on red buff, which is sufficient enough to stick to your target.
Lastly you say about high elo play while you aren't in even there by yourself(69 Elo difference isn't that much of a difference either) and while we are at it
While i find this discussion amusing i don't think it does benefit your guide in anyway so i would ask you to keep it in comment section or PM system or at least keep it in ]spoilers[.
Thanks for reading and replying.
First of all i didn't asked any questions, i've pointed out your mistakes and i still stand up to my points. CBA to quote on everything
Rengar has little to none sustain issues past level 3-4 when you learn
About DMG, it's not
DPSit's burst damage from your single combo and more than 20% dmg is not marginal. Again you pull 4 best junglers out of nowhere (according to lolking onlyYou still max bola before roar so your slow isn't any different, you only lose its uptime duration. However as a jungler you already have good stacking slows from Red Buff and
You stated few times in your guide, that jungler
