Dry the ******* **** off before you use it!
Geez!
Use your ****ing brain, will ya?..
A hair dryer would do nicely.
Otherwise WAIT a day or two for it to dissipate by itself. Placing it in a hot room will help.
This coming from a guy that has dropped his phone in the sink and spilled half a litre water over his 150$ keyboard and nothing broke.
Ripping out the battery might help too.
Now, if you're lucky nothing is broke, but don't get your hopes up since you used it repeatedly after the accident..

When your laptop/phone/etc gets wet the first thing you do is shut it down and take off the battery. If you don't it'll short circuit and might blow up or fry up the circuits. Afterwards you just leave it to dry. NEVER power it before it's completely dried. If you're going to use a hair dryer make sure you don't put it close, or the PC may overheat. The best way is to use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the moisture and create an air flow through the pc. Putting it in a warm room is also recommended.
It's probably damaged by now though.

Ihad a small cup with water for my acrylic paint and i got distracted and i spilled it over my laptop.I dried it as much as i could turned it off and on. he was working fine.
I turned it off again, went for dinner and out for a couple of hours. When i came back to turn it on the bios required me to say what to boot from andit wouldnt respond to the keyboard. after a couple of tries i remved the hard disk turned it on, i asked me insert a boot volume. i turned it off and now seems to work ok.
how worried should i be? (biting nails like no tommorrow)
