what about usb 3.0 route? I don't see a little hole thing for a usb 3.0 header, if you don't have one you have to run it through a pci slot and that becomes cumbersome.
Personally I bought an adapter and used the 3.0 header right on my mobo, but many people still route from behind.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but there are 2 USB3 jacks at the front of the case, both of which are connected through a cable to the pins on the lower part of your motherboard.

^Well, I think something practical would be much more appreciated by any users of the case.
I for example would love to be able to use the 5.25" slots for something USEFUL, since optical media is garbage to me.
And since I would remove the HDD bracket for better airflow - leaving only 3 HDD slots left - I found being able to mount HDDs in the 5.25"slots to be the natural solution to both my problems.

Laser cannons
Tape deck/VHS player
Wheels
Concealable gun
Knock-out gas if someone attempts to use it without a retinal scan
Self-destruct mechanism
Built in LED screen that can be pulled off and used as a desktop monitor/Pad. (for those who carry desktops everywhere)
change the material to Kevlar woven microfibers (durability with potentially less weight)
give it a mouth port for easy "at home" filatio while watching porn
ummm package it with sharks with frickin laser beams on their heads.
make it use this following theme song when you power it up/take it out of sleep mode/whatever

I'm curious about what you guys might think is missing in PC cases in general.
It's hard to come up with good ideas for a case that is already so good. The Define R4 is really, really good at what it does. It's a quiet case with good cooling options and a ****load of space (it's reeeaaaally spacious). The main problems are probably that it's a little big and kinda heavy, but those things are fiddly and hard to change without compromising good features.
My idea so far is along the lines of allowing you to mount HDDs (3.5inch slots) in the DVD-reader slots (5.25inch slots), but I've yet to settle for anything.
Here are a few pics of the case:
Pic nr2
The case has fan filters for all the fan slots and the big middle HDD bracket can be removed for better airflow/alternatively fitting a 60-****ing-meters graphics cards. The case has 7 140mm fan slots which also has holes for 120mm fans. 2 of those are occupied with a fan from the start (1 in the front and one in the back)
