I actually I think I've built only one Infinity Edge on Draven in like a month. >.>

@Night: Of course it doesn't mean that, but more often than not it's better to snag LW or GA after BT+PD.

IE, while being a great ADC item isn't necessary on every ADC anymore. Or that is my view on it.

The way I see it currently: Draven/Varus/Vayne/Graves rush TBT because they have solid AD scaling. Corki/Ezreal rush Trinity Force because they can utilize the Sheen/Phage procs and also have some AP scaling which makes the cost more efficient. Caitlyn/Ashe/Tristana rush IE because they need the spike damage to flesh out their mid game damage.

(As for MF/Sivir I don't know where they really stand in terms of build orders. I used to rush IE on MF and usually BT on Sivir but I could be wrong.)

@Polse: The reason BT rush even when doing poorly makes sense to me is if you're in team fights and have no real escape (like Draven) you need to utilize sustain. IE provides spike damage with no built in sustain. Grabbing IE first with a vamp scepter means you're a glass cannon who doesn't heal for any useful amount of HP. Getting BT on the other hand means you don't do as "much" damage (spike or otherwise) but the damage you deal heals you for a significant amount. I will go back in and make it more apparent that Double Doran's or Doran's+Vamp Scepter is a good buy on your first trip back UNLESS you can afford a BF Sword+Vamp Scepter (or some combo of items where BF sword is there). The lack of ~160 HP can be crucial but I would assume if you've already picked up BF sword+Vamp (by ~15 minutes) scepter you're winning your lane hard.

I appreciate the comments and discussion people.

Ideally Infinity Edge is later anyway. You only build IE first if you're losing in lane hard as an attempt to save face. Bloodthirster is far better rushed when Draven is doing everything right (Kicking *** and taking names). That's the snowball start, which is ideally, how he should be built. IE rush on Draven is meh.

Rushing Bloodthirster doesn't mean you have to buy IE last, or more likely not at all.

If you read my section carefully you'll notice I do talk about Doran's Blades.

I'll add more to this later, I have to get to class :P

2 major things that i do not like in the guide:

No doran's blades. Draven has no blinky thingy. Without 1 or 2 doran's blades you're 100% ****ed if you're stunned. Also one misstep in lane will cost you a death if the enemy is ready for it.

your itemizing section you write: Doing poorly, get bloodthirster. That's just plain out wrong.
If you're doing poorly. As in not getting bt and double doran's pre-16 minutes, just go for the IE-vamp scepter and catch up in the mid-game.

Bloodthirster damage is lower than IE even after it's stacked, before it's stacked it's just a wet noodle hitting your enemies faces compared to IE.
