I think he means that if you join the lobby and someone says "mid" they get to go mid, it's theirs. This is the philosophy I agree with, it's annoying when someone that has 2 ranked wins and 1 loss says I have more Elo I go where I want.

i think this is a terrible idea that way people that say "MID OR FEEDING" get what they want and first pick is pointless, there is a reason people are first pick
because GOD FORBID YOU HAVE TO PLAY A SPOT YOU DONT WANT TO BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE WANTS IT SO YOU GOTTA CALL IT FIRST EVEN THOUGH THEY INSTALOCK CUZ YOU KNOW HAVING TWO ADC BECAUSE ONE INSTALOCKED AND THE OTHER SAID IT FIRST INSTEAD OF A SUPPORT IS BETTER

its just better for the team if you be mature and just play something else FOR ONE GAME because in a MOBA you arnt always gonna get what you want and yer just gonna have to be mature and deal with it

Yes, there are problems with this mode of choosing. However, I can attest that before, when I went what people wanted me too, I was staying at about 1050 ELO. Getting fed up with it, I started calling top, top, and more top, and now I'm at 1250, and if my friend would let me go top when we duo, even higher. Thus, I prefer the calling method. However that's just me, if you can't carry games don't call I suppose.
