Thornmail and force are situational items, Both of them get damage equal items insteed of defensive.

Summoner spells
No mobility? Darius can get kited easily.

Lane Match-ups
For example, Riven is good champ (I agree that she's a good solo top); however, it's not a very hard match-up for Darius.


Nidalee and any other ranged champion can easily poke and kite Darius. Unless you Flash + Grab (and you don't have Flash) then you'll have a tough time laning vs them.

Two Darius guides appeared nearly side by side... Both have not an ounce of coding. Yeah I downvoted them both.

I cannot agree more with the comment above. Thornmail is useless unless they have 5 AD carries! Force of Nature is okay, but not when you're trying to carry- you're better off with a MoM!

I don't agree with the items and the guide needs more coding, it's not eye appealing and will mostly not be read by the normal visitors on Mobafire.

I don't understand why you get Thornmail and Force of Nature on carry and off tank Darius. He'll be better off with Maw of Malmortius and Frozen Heart in both builds.
