I stumbled across this guide today and it interests me, so I'm going to give it a try. I usually play AP Sona myself and I enjoy facemelting people who assume I'm just a support champion.

Just a few observations, if you're going penetration runes wouldn't it be better to take the mixed ones? You're taking AD items, and Power Chord does magic damage.

I also think Ignite would be a better choice than Barrier, As you said yourself this build wouldn't be quite as effective in the end game, so you need to maximise your kills as much as possible and hope to snowball.

Anyways, good guide. And ignore the haters. They're not actually trying to help, they're just insulting you.

I love this build :P have had some fun in ARAM/Normals and its fun to catch ppl off guard "Oh lets taret the squishy sona" then power chord them in the face, ult flash out and watch the team kill them LOL

used this first time playing sona and went 27/7/10 and got my first quad kill

First of all, I would thank every single fan of Adc Sona and want to promise you that I am going to update this guide more often then in the past.

The Problem is that I just don´t ahve any time for playing to much games with Sona & thats the reason why I didn´t update the guide yet.
I´m trying my best to get some ideas about the S3 Adc Sona.

Also a special thanks to all my haters, who offer me some improvements, so I can cosider them and maybe icrease my knowledge about League of Legends.

FINALLY! Someone who knows and plays AD Sona! I wanted to know how to play her and you were very helpful. I played a little of AP Sona but it got pretty boring to me (because all you do for damage is , , , , , , , ect.) And I have thought about AD sona but didn't know where to start. Then you came in and Introduced me to "AD Sona + Trinity Force = WIN!!!" Also something, Maybe you could update some newer footage of AD Sona Ratios you had so people know it still works even in season 3, Just an idea. AND DON'T LET eye-opener PUT YOU DOWN! HATERS WHO HATE FOR NO REASON ARE GONNA HATE!!

Math is an important component of any game. and "i prefer that" is not an enough argument to say that armor pen is better than pure ad, on true armor pen are very cheap on this season due to Black Cleaver and armor pen rune is worth a quantity of gold much less than pure ad runes. Other point is that Sona's Power Chord is magical damage and it dels ~376 damage on lv 18 as a magic damage. Another weak point that you are not considering is to face another adc you will have 9 amor in lv 1, the weakest armor of the entire game and the lowest health, easily focused and easily killed.

Also this guide show to me that you only know play as ADC sona. Sona have a good kit to be an adc like a self heal, mov speed, bonus damage and good synergy with Trinity Force but Create or craft an original build requires that u know for a lot of other same role popular champs, if u not, u can't say that your build is significant. as example: Ezreal has all that an sona ADC have equal or better, plus escape, better resistance and scaling ad spells, he fall flat only on self heal but it is easy compensated by an heal support. ( Crescendo do not scale with ad so the 1,5s stun will be easy flated out by the better damage of the Trueshot Barrage)

My point is, have no purpose to use Sona as an ADC if Ezreal do what her do much better.

This build is pretty close to the build I normally use for my AD Sona build. Tri-Force really is a great item for champions like Sona, especially when you mix it with something that builds off of Tear of the Goddess.

But, if you play ²hybrid Sona² you should play in mid.
