I like Trundle and going to buy Xerath.
Dunno why they are not played more often, both are really vialable and Xerath is tons of funs.

Because, if you can play Xerath, you could also play Lux instead. Has more CC, an AoE nuke ulti with a very short CD and is aswell far away from fights.
Generally I think, Lux is a bit underrated. Light Binding is generally the same like Dark Binding, except that it snares 2 people and not 1. You know why Morgana is so feared, right? She has, similar to Morgana, aswell a shield, which is a bit weaker, but for that, can protect your entire team 2 times. Her E is a good slow, but it is mainly used for damage and scouting, which shouldn't be underrated aswell. And finally, I'M A FIRING MY LASER!!!

Urgot - nerfs hit hard, he's kind of a totally different champion now Karma - CDR dependent early on, mana issues, fairly item dependent with no form of CC Sejuani - slow in the jungle, terrible passive, not viable in any lane Heimerdinger - fairly difficult to pull off, large portion of damage thru turrets, not always precise Trundle - mediocre clear speed, doesn't do anything particularly well, subject to counter-jungling Poppy - non-existant laning phase Xerath - AP kog does everything he does better Viktor - difficult to use Syndra - came out very weak so people still think she is bad, low range AP champ with no escape Tryndamere - nerfed pretty hard and a kit that doesn't support his playstyle

Don't forget Trundle's animation problems, as his animations stop him from doing proper DPS once his att speed is up to date.
This is a known problem, yet still not fixed.
That together with him being not able to keep up with a bazillion champs that got mobility per excellence makes him a tough duellist, but you need to be very good with him and have a decent team to profit from him.
Still one of my favourite champs :)

Trundle problems with clear-times? Get some as on runes and he's a monster with easy clear and can go straight to laneganks. No healthpots needed.
