Firstly, turn on 'comment to vote'. Trust me, it's more beneficial for you to know who were your initial voters.

OK, onto the guide.

DAFUQ.

Boots and 1 sight ward start? That is just so bad. That start is for solo-laners or the jungler, not for the support. You got 1 sight ward, so what do you ward? If you ward river, you might get a tribush gank, or a lane-bush gank. You can't stay in lane for longer than 3 minutes because you don't have any additional wards.

Start Faerie Charm, 2 sight wards, 1 Vision Ward and 1 potion.

Take out Kage's Lucky Pick and replace with Philosopher's Stone. Kage's Lucky Pick won't build into anything you can use (unless they have Dr. Mundo on their team or something). Incidentally, these items are called GP10s, not GP5. The technical correct term would be 5GP10. The reason you build Philosopher's Stone isn't primarily because of mana/hp problems. It's because of Shurelya's Battlesong. Y'know, the item with huge CDR and a killer active?

Catalyst the Protector is NOT core on support Nunu & Willump. Neither is Rod of Ages. And you complete your boots after a 3035g item? Good luck with that on a support's income. This should ever be a situational pick.

Sorc boots are useless on support Nunu & Willump. You won't be doing anywhere near enough damage for these to do anything. Zerker Greaves are 'not as good'? You're kidding me, right? Useless as well. Mobility Boots and Boots of Swiftness do fine on Nunu & Willump, since he can roam really well.

Take Void Staff out. Not even remotely viable on support Nunu & Willump for the same reasons as Sorc boots. You should be tanky enough to not need Guardian Angel late game - should be another situational pick. No Shurelya's Battlesong as a must? Because it is. No Randuin's Omen? Soul Shroud is useless, leave it out.

That aside, the rest of the information is... mostly OK.

I agree with Customtm about everything... I mean, if you are support, you are trying to support your team, but not yourself with some ba**ss items like 3035 gold high Rod of Ages :/ Even if you get that item, everyone will be in front of you with their items so it's a waste of gold for a support.

EDIT: +1 for a nice composed guide :P

With 15 Gp5 and a lot of early assists I don't have any problem picking up Rod of Ages and still getting an aura item after. Sure rod doesn't buff your team but having the health and some ap to play agressive and not die means your adc is going to snowball.

I like the Omen idea but Nunu isn't lacking in the slow department. Where frozen heart and ice blast can shut down an enemy adc. Regardless thanks for the constructive imput.

Very nice guide +1

But there are two things that bother me:

1. Rod of Ages is a very expensive item for a support, means you getting it pretty late unless your ksing or csing. At the same time it has to stack for 10 minutes after that, delaying it's effect even more. And last but not least, it doesn't help your team at all.

2. As your say Absolute Zero forces people to either focus you or blow CC. Add Randuin's Omen to the build then, as it is a very effective item if you get a lot of attention, more than Frozen Heart and it builds out of your Heart of Gold
