My boyfriend just spent money on Riot Points in game and he's trying to purchase the Dryad outfit for Soraka for me. I just purchased this character about 5-10 minutes prior to him trying to purchase the outfit for me and I bought her with IP. Everytime he tries to gift the outfit to me it says that I don't own the character when I do, I just purchased her. Why is this happening/how can he gift it to me?

Unsolved, but we're assuming it's from me being a new member and joining in around late November/early December.

No more replies necessary.

There's a gift limit. If he gifted someone 3 times in that day he can't gift stuff anymore, could be that.

He has never gifted anyone before. I'm level 11 and he is level 30 so the levels aren't the problem, either.

You need to be level 20 to give certain types of gifts. Since your account is only level 11, that may be contributing to the problem on the receiving end as well.
