The people who run own3d.tv are absolute amateurs. Their way of leading company is just terrible.
Just look at what happened to own3d.tv when Twitch.tv, their first serious competitor, appeared. Own3d.tv didn't give a ****, they provide the same sub-par service as three years ago and they can't even pay their streamers, whereas Twitch.tv improved their service and everything.
It's like own3d.tv didn't even want to compete the market.

i don't really see the reason to witchhunt/boycott own3d since are shooting themselves in the foot regardless. trm, phantoml0rd, and guardsmanbob recently switched to twitch, clg is moving to azubutv (the new competition to twitch?) and after them the only thing left is team crs, tobiwan, and maybe a couple others. own3d is already dying and they probably deserve it.
also should be mentioned that when twitch faced criticism around 6 months ago about their laggy streams they got their **** together and fixed it. own3d is still the same old thing.
the only thing i like about own3d is that it is easier to record vods (twitch just records your whole stream) and see viewer statistics.
