I'm studying before I transition from top land yi to jungle yi and I found this to be extremely useful!

I find that spirit is great on Yi...

Bulwark does provide more defenses, but:
- no tenacity
- no bonus damage to creeps
- no hp5/mp5

In the early & mid game, tenacity is key. You are going to be picking off lone targets, split pushing towers, and jumping in to the edges of teamfights. You can't afford to be locked down--you will lose ganks, you will be caught and killed by CC.

Further, the bonus damage to creeps that you get from the spirit stone & spirit of the ancient golem helps your clear speeds a good bit.

And finally, the hp5/mp5 gives you good sustain on top of your BotRK. The MP5 lets you give blue buff to your mid early (after spirit stone) without gimping your ability to jungle effectively.
The HP5 helps keep you topped off.


In the late game, on the other hand, you no longer need the hp5/mp5, nor the bonus creep damage.
You will be involved in more teamfights though. So the extra defenses from bulwark are useful there.

runic bullwark is priobaly better off purchasing earlier on in the game. spitit of the blue golem is not necessary on master yi. other than the above statements the guide works pretty well. plus one

That's a very interesting guide. Right now it's a ''bad'' guide. Not because the content/items/runes/whatever sucks, because it is not appealing at all. You will get next to no readers. Those who will see the walls of text will just click on another guide and downvote yours even if your guide has good content.
