If you would play Corki AP, that means your main abilities will be your Q, your W and your ultimate.
Your Q benefits 50% from your AP, has a short range and has a short radius.
Your W benefits 40% * 5 = 200% from your AP, but this is also your main escape which you can't abuse for damage output, since that means you will need to jump in the enemy team in order to deal damage.
Your R benefits 30% from AP, which is fairly good. However, you can just use it 7 times in a row, or with high CDR, 8 times in a row.
Corki has no real burst damage, since he simply can't throw all his abilities in a row.
Since he has a good poke though, so he could work as long he keeps his range.
I wouldn't say he is viable in summoners rift.
However, I would say he is viable in all random all mid! :D

He's just so squishy and as tribness said you can't really use Valkyrie for damage, and his Q kinda sucks damage-wise. It's also pretty short ranged. Going AP also pretty much makes your E and passive useless. And of course you can't burst, and once you used all your ult stacks your damage is your 8 second CD Q.

With his long range ulti on a short cooldown(1.2 seconds) he can have a lich bane proc everytime he wants wich by its turn makes a proc on his passive dealing an extra 10% true damage.
the liandry's is there to proc
so is it viable ? or is it troll ?
