Similar to your Janna guide: It's just too good. The gameplay section offers a well pooled overview about the most important stuff I would say. The segment about the synergy with various ADCs is helpful when choosing a decent bot lane in ranked (What about Urgot, rarely seen but the synergy with Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser could be nice).
I'm really contemplate with Leona now because I have bought Janna, Nami and Taric yet and I'm thinking of a more aggressive support.
I'm interested in your opinion to the changes to Aegis of the Legion which you can now "transform" into Locket of the Iron Solari. Do you like the changes or not? I'm just interested because I heard so many people saying that it's weaker than the synergy of the two items before. I would be delighted to your answer just to hear another opinion <3.

Finally, have a nice day!

thanks for the votes and comments friends c:

@glitchedsoul, yeah I'll be sure to update the matchups to include Quinn.

@coldmischief, regen bead works fine. I'm not sure which'd give more sustain in the long run but it doesn't really matter. Pots will give ya 600 hp which'll be enough for sure. I get reg if I'm rushing philo or emblem only.

@aquilegia, lulz it's nothing special d:

Great guide! +1, just a question though, Doesn't regen bead give more sustain than 4 health pots? Leona has great health regen, and with a regen bead, if she is at like half health, she can just hug turret and regain some back pretty quick. Just my opinion. Great job!

Personal preference is HP quints.

Or a mix of armor and MR :P

In the match-up section i feel that Quinn works very well with Leona.
It may take a little communication, but if your ADC works with you, you can pull off a killer combo.
Leona hops in with her E-Q combo, applying her passive, while Quinn hops in with her E, marking the
target with her passive, popping both of them can burst someone down pretty quickly.

Quoted:

While I didn't emphasize it, the removing the ward thing is in the guide, warding section of the gameplay chapter. I personally don't like philo, I only get it when I'm sure I'm getting Shurelyas and I'm pretty sure I said that in the guide, if I haven't I shall. I was planning on getting ignite but lul I forgot to add it. The one time I did pick Leona with ignite they thought I was going top or something and picked a support (LeBlanc, no less) and I just went top lolol I realy hate sightstone too honestly, but if you don't buy it you're apparently a noob. Thanks for the review though, I'll edit the guide when I get the chance :3

Oh, sorry if I accidentally missed some things. I never thoroughly read a guide (and then reread it to scan ALL the mistakes!), because that would take me about an hour or even more to make the review :)

I'm gonna love reviewing this. Leona is my favourite support and I love watching EG.Krepo play her :)

Readability (2.4/3)

  • Structure: Well structured, BUT I don't like using huge banners for three lines of text.
  • BB-coding: Good use of columns and bb-coding. Looks really nice ^^
  • Walls of text: Good use of paragraphs to cover all walls of text, even in the chapters where you didn't include as much images or bb-coding
  • Other structure related stuff: The only structural thing I don't like, is the item explanation. I feel like it is somewhat short and not divided well into different paragraphs or columns.

Content (5/6)

  • Cheat sheet: I disagree with your note on oracle. It can be purchased anytime, but it is mainly good after about 20 minutes. I recall krepo saying that he always buys an oracle at the 20 minute mark, no exceptions. I think this little note suggests that an oracle is not that good before the 30 minute mark - which is false.
Furthermore, well structured cheat-sheet, perhaps add homeguard enchantment though
  • Skill order/explanation:
Skill order is perfect, I've seen Leona players start E first or sometimes even W which hurts my eyes.
You explain that your Q resets your autoattack timer, but you forget to mention that it can be used to destroy wards (you can even kill a ward on your own if you get somewhat lucky). I think barely anyone knows this, or even knows what the benefit of resetting an AA-timer is, so you should explain this (perhaps make another of those cool GIFs)
BTW: I think that there are no really good alternative skilling sequences. I think you'd do good by simply removing them.
  • Item choices:
Philo stone is not good on leona because it weakens your fighting potential by means of delaying durability-items. Sightstone rush gives you something like a gp10 (by means that it pays for itself) but gives you durability as well. I'll give you the same example I gave OTGBionic while I was playing thresh:
I played with thresh, coupled with ezreal as adc against varus-leona. Now we got slightly ahead, by means of a 2 for 1 fight - but nothing noticable. Now I instantly got my sightstone, and leona didn't even grab a ruby crystal. What happened after? Leona tried to engage onto us and caught ezreal, but our AoE (ezreal ult, tresh ult) got her to 25% straight out, because she didn't have anything defensive. Again we ended the fight 2 for 1 but it could've been really different if leona didn't get bursted down instantly.
Bulwark should be picked against heavy ap-damage, locket is great to rush after sightstone (not the ruby sightstone!) - just for some explanation
All the other items are good, but randuin's is good for shutting down carries and not really disengaging. First you stunlock someone, exhaust him (if you run exhaust) and then randuins = no damage adc. Keep in mind that this is a REALLY expensive item, though.
  • Runes/Masteries/Summoners: Masteries and runes are all good, but no ignite? :(
  • Gameplay:
Well explained gameplay chapter, and I haven't spot any obvious mistakes. One thing you might consider adding is something like a combo section:
    For example:
    E-first combo: E-W-Q-R
    Teamfight combo: (flash)-R-W-E-Q-ignite/exhaust-(flash)-Q-wait-E-Q
(the reason why you max Q second is for the lower CD, you can use it once while waiting for E to come back up again and then E-Q again)

Others (0.7/1)

  • Special looks: Bonus points for the nice GIFs :)
  • Matchups: You mention well synergizing carries, but you could add some difficult 2v2 lanes to face.

Final score: (8.1/10)

Your guide is quite good overall - no big mistakes and you know what you are talking about. When judging content, your guide is the best leona guide overall and I'll support your higher cause with my upvote :)

I JUST HATE SEEING SIGHTSTONE ON AGGRESSIVE SUPPORTS
