Udyr is definitly not the best peeler in the game. Pretty far from it, considering all he really has is a short stun.
He really excels at backdooring at the moment, however, Or as you guys would like to call it; "surprise buttsex" ;). He's harder to catch than a nidalee when built properly, and can easily 1v1 anyone if the enemy team only sends one person.
If you run ghost teleport, you can catch any carry (out of teamfights). Udyr's mobility is broken at the moment because when running cooldown reduction, he has bear and his passive.

I Was Planin something similar to TnA Xin Build where you Rush either Cleaver(DoT OP) or Yomuss(Lololo Attack Speed) and get Randuins,BT(in this case prolly BoRK in Cleaver and BT for Yommus I guess still need the math) if you need dmg if not just go for Warmogs or Bullwark

Seriously though, on-topic, I dont believe you need to abuse the ratios anyway. You could try TBC for starters, then realise you get bonus DMG for auto attacks and still build BotRK and Zephyr like you would have done before.
Then you know... Bulwark/Omen/Sunfire/Visage/MoM/Gauntlet/Mallet, the usual. The only skill change that really matters to me is the buff on Bear Stace. Everything else was really just: hey we find lane-dyr boring.
