This looks more like a theorycraft than anything. And almost anything seems viable while theorycrafting. Sure it gets you focused, but you'll die far too quickly, you may not even survive for the duration of your ult. Rammus can also get reasonable damage while still being very tanky with his armor to AD passive. Could you post some proof that this build has actually done well in game.

To get Thornmail, you should use double brackets, like this
Furthermore, I disagree on your build with Will of the Ancients and zeke's herald. These items barely supplement Rammus' skill set.
