Soraka Draven is an incredibly strong lane. [/quote] people actually used to know me for my [[soraka]] play. One of the strengths of soraka is she can be played with any bot lane. However, the title of this thread is "best bottom lane duo", and for obvious reasons I've listed, [[Soraka]]+[[Draven]] isn't an optimal lane. So I don't think they should be in the discussion. [/quote] None of the reasons you listed make [[Soraka]] and [[Draven]] a strong lane. A lot of it is pretty irrelevant too. [[Soraka]] is not more of a threat when paired with high dps/high mobility champions (p.s. Draven's W does not make him a high mobility champion). I'm also not seeing how she is able to use [[starcall]] more or more effectively when paired with one of these champions. I wouldn't even call [[soraka]] a threat. One of the reasons we haven't seen [[soraka]] as much in season 3 has been because of the prominence of 2v1 lanes. You can send your top lane into a 2v1 against [[Soraka]] with zero consequence. [/quote] The reason soraka is only picked about 6% of the time is because the only team that's been running 'protect' comps a lot in the pro scene is really CLG, and they tend to favor supports like Lulu or Janna. This influences the "meta" but does not dictate the actual strength of champions. Merely what pro teams have been practicing. Soraka Draven is a very strong 2v1 lane, as it can both push, and harass, even under tower. Now I'm not going to say that I believe [[Soraka]] + [[Draven]] to be the strongest bot lane, but I would definitely put it up there as one of my favorite solo/duo queue lanes to run.[/quote]
