I play support Viktor aswell, tho I'm in gold 2 atm and play with a mate from plat, we constantly get plat and diamond enemies and I'd say - it works. I haven't found a better synergy for him than Ashe, the lvl 6 ding kill/double kill is frighteting. I'd lovely craft a guide about him in a support role too but after taking note that people like pictures more than text I just won't sit for days finding all this ****.

You know nothing of support Viktor. The guides a bit wall-o-texty but Support Viktor does in fact work. I have yet to actually lose lane with it. It's pretty obvious he has to turn into a mage at some point, Zyra usually does too. The thing is Viktor is actually pretty OP against all in lanes or any lane with a melee support; shuts off their engage completely.

Ehhhh, he doesn't have enough skill usage for his carry. Sure a 1.5s stun is pretty good at Lv1, but he falls off as a support afterwards. I would do it if I started out as a support and then went mage afterwards, via Mejai's Soulstealer and Morellonomicon. I won't deny that Gravity Field is great, especially at Lv1-3, but he'll simply fall off after the enemies level. He'll need the AP to do damage afterwards.
