Don't try to copy the pros... they are playing different than most people, if you try to play like them, you will most likely fail. Start practicing with a champ you like and get as good as you can with it, try many champs for all the roles and stick to those you perform well with.

This is what I am doing mostly, Dillbutt. Still I wanted to post this because its something I've been thinking for some time. Also learning t play a champion isn't that difficult(with few exetions) so you can potentialy learn to play some top tier champs if you want to.

Of course, but to say 'not to copy pro players' is just outright wrong. As long as you understand why they do what they do, there is absolutely nothing wrong with copying pro players.

I like playing AP Mids such as Gragas, but when I play Miss Fortune I just carry hard and without much difficulty.
To carry your team you need a champion who can actually get the job done without much team help, imo. A good laner that can snowball. Also, in early levels, it's impressive how many people don't ward. ANYTHING. So abuse dragon/baron for global gold so the idiots you are carrying can help a bit more before dying. Yeah, that was bit harsh, my bad.
Teach people that objectives are more important than kills. That way team clears towers and you get kills LOL

it's not about whose the best at carrying, it's about who you're good at using as a player. I'm a terrible Caitlyn (though she's considered the best ADC I believe) and I do better with ADCs like ashe, MF, or Ezreal, and I've never even USED renekton, but I still carry from top lane when I play it. etc.

I carry with tanks, if I may use the seemingly paradoxal reference... (barely any AP or AD included)
