Of course, but to say 'not to copy pro players' is just outright wrong. As long as you understand why they do what they do, there is absolutely nothing wrong with copying pro players.
Pros usualy have awesome mechanics and reflexes, but sometimes I've noticed some slight mistakes on masteries and stuff, not anything major.
I mostly try to find out how to carry with

Make calls, be friendly to these idiots, be good. Doesn't really matter which champion you are playing as long as you know what you are doing.
Sadly, bad players won't listen to calls anyway even if you ping the retreat button for like x10 times..:(
And usualy this is why I avoid playing as a support as well because you can't lead that well compaired to picks like Voli or Heca(although

This depends on how farmed you are. Riven should have nearly perfect CS in lane unless you're 1v2 or playing against

Of course, like I said, if you understand the choices made, then copying pros is not a problem. If you also understand that they've made a mistake, then you won't copy it.

Although, rushing

I think the main thing about copying pros is that not everything pros play is a good thing to copy. They are pros for a reason and can play champs/comps/items builds that most people can't because they know how this game works. Sometimes, they just play something to try it out. I think the main thing is, don't just try to play the champs or make the plays the pros do.
Learn from what they do and why they do it, but just because Voyboy plays
Fizz top means you should too. Can you learn how he played it and then practice it and play it, sure. I think the biggest problem is that everyone wants to copy what a pro without practicing it.

I like to play Riven when I want to carry.
