If your team is behind and you're in mid lane you can't really use your Q for mobility... If you can manage his really squish/weak early game <lvl6 he becomes an absolute monster. You can lock people down for ages. His clear is fast, his ganks are REALLY strong, and he just gets SO tanky. He has great initiation in the form of hit ult and his Q. He also has great disengage as well.
