I would probably remove the cooldowns, considering you have to wait in order to get souls to cast the spell.
Either that, or make it 'whenever Aria kills a unit, she gains x souls. This amount is doubled for champions and large monsters and minions' or something like that.
For the ultimate, I was thinking it could be 'Aria consumes all souls (up to a max of x) and summons them into the battlefield' or something along those lines...
Anyways, those are just my thoughts, would like to see how this champion changes ^_^

This is a fantastic idea, but there may be a bit of problems trying to get her abilities up and running at the beginning.
I suggest having a regular version of each spell, one that doesn't require Soul, but they cost a small amount of HP in return. For example;
(Q): Extends her blade of her scythe, dealing _,_,_,_,_. Cost 4% of current HP.
20 souls: Slow any enemy hit by this by _,_,_,_,_
Sort of like a free spell, and it encourages players to either play her defensively and farm, or go for an all-out aggressive assault, even if they don't have enough soul to fully combo it.
As for numbers, I could recommend:
{Passive}: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, or: (1-5) 10, (6-10) 20, (10-14) 30, (15-18) 40.
{Q}: 65, 95, 125, 155, 185 (0.65 AD) (0.4 AP) Damage
Slow: 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%
Slow Duration: 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 9
{W}: 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 (0.5 AP) damage absorbed.
Stun duration: 1.25
Cooldown: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10
{E}: 3, 3.75, 4.5, 5.25, 6 seconds. I would recommend that this should just be invisibility instead of flat-out immortality, though. xD
Slow: 20, 30, 40, 50, 60%
Slow Duration: 4 seconds
Cooldown: 27, 23, 19, 15, 11.
{R} 10, 15, 20 seconds. I'd also recommend that souls can only attack a champion once - Kinda like a kamikaze. Additionally, I'd also recommend capping the ultimate, since 200 souls on the screen at once would be hell on people with less-than-stellar computers.
Cap: 1, 3, 5.
Damage: 100, 200, 300 (0.6 AP), (1, 2, 3 additional magic damage for each soul consumed over the required amount*)
*Scenario: Aria has 200 souls, and her ultimate is level 2. It would cost her 200 souls to use her ultimate, but she can only summon 3 souls. To compensate, they ALL do:
(200 - 3) = 197
(197 * 2) = 394
394 additional magic damage on top of AP scaling~
Though these are only suggestions, they do make her a bit more of an AP carry over AP Melee, these are just some things that I came up with when I saw this - Take them with a grain of salt. xD

kinda weak early game in the sense that she needs souls to function. and if she happens to lane with a heavy zoning team then it's practically GG. adding the fact that she is melee and ap so probably it would be really hard for her to last hit. and with what i have understood she should be the one to kill the enemy to get the souls so tower hugging isn't really great. i'd like to see some alternatives for casting skills ^^

Intro: Aria is a mid or top, AP melee-fighter.(her lore would somehow connect to either thresh or the shadow isle) She also collects souls like thresh but use them in a different way. :D

If an enemy champion is stunned, she gets half the souls it cost.
Cost:40 souls.
CD: 12-10-8-6-5
E:(Reincarnation): *first activation*She turns herself into a ghost being immune to any damage for 4 sec. Second activation: Select a champion to dash to. ( like Katrina's blink ) If the champion is an enemy they would be slow.
Slow: 20%,30%,40%,50%,60%
Slow duration: 4 secs at all level.
Cost:30 souls.
CD: 27,23,19,15,11
R( Lost souls ): Aria sacrifice a % of her health and summons 5-8-10 souls into the battlefield, each souls deals 25-30-40 + (0.6 AP)magic damage to nearest enemy .( prioritize champions ) the souls only last for 5 secs. ( while the ultimate is activated, she gains 2 souls per sec. * once a soul attack an enemy champion, they will vanished and return to Aria, healing her % of her health.
Cost: 50 souls + % of her health.
CD: 100-90-80
(If you don't understand the ult, imagine gp's ult but instead of bullets it would be ghost flying around)

OK, so i got an idea for her lore, tell me what you think ..
Aria , the Prophet of Death.
After the day she was born, everyone that's around her started dying of unknown reasons. So her parents decided to abandon her in the deep woods of the valoran's forest at the age of 3. She didn't have any clue what was happening but she manage to survive until she was 10. Thresh returning from collecting souls Thresh found her body and brought it back to the shadow isle. He have noticed that it Aria was different from others her soul was dark and surrounded by a powerful aura. He then used a forbidden magic to return her soul to her body, although it wasn't that successful.( Aria lost an arm in her last battle before she died so her right arm wasn't recreated ) So Thresh had to put another soul into her to make her complete.. After some time ARIA was born again feeling more powerful than ever. Thresh made her his disciple and thought her how to collect souls. Years after her training thresh left her in the shadow isle alone leaving her nothing but a death scythe.
It took time before she manage to master the skill of harvesting souls and using it to her advantage, She said to herself that she won't be abandon anymore so by the age of 17 she left the shadow isle to look for thresh and she couldn't find him anywhere so she decided to join the League of Legends, in her surprise she found her master there and fought with him.
( ahhhhh this is just like an idea of her lore ... wat do ya think? )
