Traditional supports vs kill lane supports

Recently kill lane supports started poping up in my games and they can pretty much shut down our adc + traditional support lane.I mostly play Sona,sometimes Soraka or Janna,Nami,Lulu.I see enemy Lux,Zyra and even Lissandra supports in bot lane and i think they're more valuable than traditonal supports (well that's how i feel,correct me ahead if i'm wrong).They offer really good cc,they ward and after laning they are really valuable in teamfights because they do really good damage,most of their abilities are AOE and they can even be offtanks because they get some money from the kills(they get much more gold than a traditonal support).In games like this i feel so weak compared to them and i'm getting an urge to ditch traditional supports for kill lane supports + the traditionals supports get nerfed over and over again and if u are a kill lane support and get a bad adc u can carry yourself. I ward ,don't sit in bushes,say ss and try to be agressive as I can to set yp kill for my carry,but in situations like this you just feel out played because they have really good kits and so much cc. I really want to hear your opinions and please correct where I was wrong.[/quote]
