They initially said 10AM PST (1PM where I am), but now they're saying 12PM PST (3PM EST) D:

The rule of internet gaming servers:
Take the expected time of the servers coming up. Add a few hours. And you got the right time frame.
They give you a certain time so it looks like it will be up shortly. Then they keep going OH ERRORS! Add a few hours. Rinse and repeat.
Nothing new though. Been going on since Everquest and all.

Don't look now. But...
Downtime will be between 1:30 AM and 2:00 PM PST.
EXTENDED!
Patch days: I just give up any hope of playing on these days. Because you know when/if they do come up. Server will be laggy, then it will be set to busy. Everyone wants to log on and buy the new champion, then dodge queues until they first pick them. Even then someone else will dodge and then it just goes on and on.

My question is, why can't they have an accurate approximation of downtime? Is it really that hard to say "Maintenance will take between 10-16 hours. Please be patient and considerate of your GMs and we shall have the servers up as soon as we can" See? Simple, polite, and covers the general time from of just about any royal screw-ups without going into any detail. This gives people the satisfaction of knowing "oh okay, so at the latest I should be able to log on at ____ o' clock" And schedule accordingly.
