i never said a fetus wasn't life. i just said a fetus is not a child. it is a bundle of living cells, nothing more.
but lets throw all the rules out! just send a cute pic of your kid and an essay on why they should live and get your whatever.

I like things that make me feel stupid. - Ken Levine
It's funny, but all i just heard was "LOLOLOL I KNOW EVERYTHING AND IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ME YOU'RE STUPID." And since that's all it ever sounds like when people fight on abortion I must retort with

I disagree with you on your definition of human life. If you don't like it too bad. It's my opinion, and the fact that you're trying to prove my opinions wrong with your opinions and then use even more opinions as evidence is just circular logic. And I'm not talking about whether it's a human yet, I'm talking about whether it is morally acceptable to kill it whether it is or isn't. I happen to find it unacceptable to kill a fetus, just as it is to kill a child. You can disagree with me all you want, but here's a fact for the first time in this thread: No matter what you say my thoughts on this topic aren't going to be changed just cuz you disagree.

I was thinking of saying something slightly harsher, albeit I had a bit more sense than annoyance to say it aloud.
If it makes you feel better Moon I also read about that and signed the petition earlier. So glad that the rule was altered and hopefully she'll live and be healthy. Even if she doesn't it's great that the rule was altered, because no it's not like they slap an adult pair of lungs in a child. They can use a partial transplant.
"Despite the fact that many pediatric patients can use a partial lobar transplant from an adult donor, these young patients are only offered adult donor lungs after all adult patients, regardless of the severity of the child's illness. While Sarah has an LAS score over 60, which would normally place her as the highest priority for her blood type in region, all adults in region with her blood type will be offered the lungs first, even those with more stable diagnoses and lower LAS scores. Sarah will only be offered adult lungs if no adult candidates accept the organ."
I thought that was a pretty ****py policy. Obviously no policy is going to be perfect but this one was ****py.
Not gonna bother talking about abortion on the internet, the discussion is never reasonable.
Also, deleted all the spam in the thread. Don't spam guys.

Ye don't call an egg a chicken, you call it an egg.
That's basically what he said.
Child = Chicken, fetus = egg.
One goes great with bacon, the other great on the BBQ.
Hmmmmm, bacon.......
Also, rule proved (kinda) wrong, it got suspended. System works.
Two entirely different things. Mammals give live birth, reptiles and birds give birth through eggs. you might have learned this in elementary school. In case you didn't pick it up, there term 'live' is in there, as in a living being.

thats exactly the point, there shouldn't be a policy around this. Before Obamacare she probably would have gotten the lung she needed.

Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!

It is a couple of cells put together. If you think murdering a few cells is a bad thing, then every one of us is a bad man :P
A fetus of 8 weeks: 1.6 cm
A fetus of 9 weeks: 2.3 cm
A fetus of 10 weeks: 3.1 cm
Etc.

If you once hurted your knee, and had a stain with a diameter of 1.6 cm, you basically killed a fetus. Though your knee probably will never be able to grow to a baby, it is around the same amount of cells.
It is not that bad if you think about it this way :P

Who are you to decide what is life and what isn't. If a fetus isn't life, then what is?
Nothing was said about life, lol.
